Flight Landing in Athens from Moscow, Jan 2019

This short video captures the final approach and landing of a flight from Moscow to Athens, filmed from the window on January 12, 2019. The flight departed from Sheremetyevo, Moscow's largest airport and the main hub for Aeroflot, on the roughly 2,400 km route south to Greece.

As the aircraft descends toward Athens, the window view passes over the Athens Riviera — the stretch of coastline southeast of the city that includes Vari and Varkiza, popular beach suburbs known for their seaside tavernas and sailing clubs. The approach continues over Glyfada and the coast before the final descent into Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos).

It's a short clip by design — just the last few minutes of a much longer flight — kept as an archive record of the view rather than a full flight report.
