Istanbul Turkey 🇹🇷 Taksim City Center Walk

Yesterday I arrived in Istanbul on the flight from Yekaterinburg and went for a city Center walk around Taksim.

The trip was very exhausting. This was the first time that I visited Russia, Omsk city in 4.5 years. It was so long that I have not seen my parents.

I did feel sanctions in Russia every day. Some YouTubers say they don’t feel it but I did. It was one of the reasons I left earlier than I planned.

Istanbul is the one of the few cities which serves as a gate for Russians to the outside world in 2023.

I had to take two flights. Omsk Yekaterinburg and Yekaterinburg to Istanbul.

Yesterday I also spent two hours being questioned on different matters at the passport and Russian border control in Yekaterinburg airport Koltsovo.

The weather in Istanbul today is quite humid and little grey. So it’s my stopover in Istanbul. Guess where I’m going to from here?
