Amsterdam Pride 2027: Canal Parade Date, Route and How to Watch

Amsterdam's Canal Parade returns to its traditional format in 2027, a year after the city hosted WorldPride for the first time. The 2027 Pride Amsterdam programme is confirmed for Saturday, 7 August 2027, with the Canal Parade as its centrepiece.

The parade has been the highlight of Pride Amsterdam week since 1995 — the only Pride parade in the world staged entirely on water, with around eighty decorated boats sailing past crowds gathered along the canal banks. In 2026, the event was folded into WorldPride Amsterdam, a nine-day programme (25 July – 8 August) that drew an estimated half a million spectators to a route running from Oosterdok along the Amstel, Prinsengracht and Herengracht.
